Product Description
N2XH cable Application:
Halogen-free and flame-resistant cable for power transmission and power distribution, generally for fixed installation in public buildings as hospitals, schools, hotels, airports and railway stations, where are high requirements for security. N2XH – Halogen-free power cable acc. HD 604/VDE 0276-604. Building installation cable with improved fire characteristics for fixed installation.
Kabel N2XH Features :
-Flame-retardant according IEC 60332-1-2.
-No flame-propagation according to IEC 60332-3-24
-Halogen-free according to IEC 60754-1
-Low smoke density according to IEC 61034-2
Cable N2XH Construction:
Conductor : Bare copper wire conductor class 1 for cross section 1.5mm2 to 16.0mm2; class 2 for cross section 16mm2 to 95mm2.
Abbreviations "re", "rm", "se", "sm":
r = round conductor form;
s = sectorial conductor form;
e = single-wire conductor;
m = multi-wire conductor;
Insulation : Cross-linked polyethylene type XLPE
Inner covering: halogen-free compound, flame-resistant
Sheath: halogen-free compound, flame-resistant type HM4 according to HD 604
Sheath color : black.
N2XH-J With protective conductor.
N2XH-O without protective conductor.

4) insulation resistance at 90 °C: min 1012 Ω x cm
5) maximum conductor temperature: + 90 °C
6) max. conductor temperature at short circuit for 5 s : +250 °C
7) temperature of environment: -30 °C to +70 °C
8) minimum temperature during installation: -5 °C
9) minimum bending radius during installation: single core : 15D; multiple core : 12D (D – outer cable diameter)
10) flame test: flame-retardant acc. to IEC 60332-3 category "B" and VDE 0472 part 804
11) corrosivity of combustion gases – in acc. to VDE 0472 part 813
12) low smoke density – in acc. to VDE 0472 part 816.
