Product Description
Halogen-Free Cable with Improved Fire Behaviour
Application:
Safety cables are used in all locations where a high degree of protection against fire and fire-damage has to be provided for human life and equipment and are, therefore, subject to high security requirements. These cables may be used indoors and outdoors. They may not be installed directly into the ground and into the water. This cable conforms to Safety Class II standards.
N2XH and N2XCH cables are widely used European power cables used for electricity supply for fixed installations with a voltage rating of 600/1000V in public buildings. Their flame-retardant non-corrosive (FRNC) outersheath makes them suitable for use where smoke and corrosive gases would pose a risk to human life and sensitive equipment in the event of a fire.
These cables are suitable for use in dry and damp environments, on or under plaster, on cable trays, in walls, masonry and in concrete. The N2XH and N2XCH are not suitable for direct burial without external protection against mechanical stress or water.
