Applications
The copper conductors type TW are used for power and lighting circuits in industrial, commercial and residential buildings, as specified in the National Electrical Code. This type of conductor can be used in dry and wet places, its maximum operating temperature is 60 ºC and its voltage of service for all applications is 600 V.

Specifications
The copper conductors type TW meets the following specifications and standards:
? ASTM B-3: Wires annealing or soft copper.
? ASTM B-8: Copper Conductors twisted in concentric, hard, semi-hard or soft layers.
? UL – 83: Wires and Thermoplastic insulated cables.
? NEMA WC-5: Wires and cables with thermoplastic material insulated (ICEA S-61-402) for transmission and distribution of electricity.

Construction
The type TW conductors may be solid or stranded (multicore) and are built with soft temper copper are also insulated with an even layer of moisture resistant thermoplastic Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). They can be supplied in various colors according to their size and different forms of packaging.
