Single Core Overhead XLPE Insulated Aluminium Covered line wire and Cable

1. Introduction
It consists of copper or aluminum conductor, inner shielding layer, weather-prrof insulation material and outer shielding layer. It has not only power-transmitting character of power cable, but strong mechanical character of aerial cable as well. In comparison with bare wire, it boasts many advantages such as small span in laying the cable, high reliability and good aging-resistant character.

3. Working conditions of Overhead Insulated Cable
(1) Rated voltage: 1KV, 10KV
(2) The highest work temperature of the cable conductor:XLPE Insulated cable 90ºC,HDPE Insulated
cable 75ºC.

(3) During having a short(lasting less than 5 seconds), the maximum temperature: XLPE insulated cable 250ºC,HDPE insulated cable 150ºC.
(4) During the cable lying temperature must be above -20ºC.
(5) Bending radius allowance of the cable:
A:1KV overhead insulated cable: It should be no less than 4D for the cable with outer diameter less
than 25mm; It should be no less than 6D for the cable with outer diameter of 25mm or more.
B: 10KV overhead insulated cable:
Single core cable: 20 (D+d)±5%mm; Multl-core cable: 15 (D+d)±5%mm.
Formula inside: D—Actual cable outer diameter; d—Actual conductor outer diameter.
