The 25kV aluminum conductor insulated cable features a compact round conductor, composed of aluminum strands, blocked or not, and with a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) covered in black or gray color, with special characteristics to be resistant against electric tracking and UV-rays.

As XLPE is a thermoset material, the 25KV aluminum conductor insulated cable enables operation up to 90°C continuously all while delivering higher capacity when compared to the thermoplastic materials.

The main application for insulated aluminum cables is on compact overhead, primary power distribution, medium-voltage networks located in urban and wooded areas.
