Jinyuan Cable Co., Ltd. was founded in 1993 in Luoyang, Henan Province, the venerable historical capital that has been sacred ground since the late Neolithic period and known for its beautiful peonies. Jinyuan Cable Co., Ltd. is comprise of the Overhead Conductor Business Division, the Power Cable Division and the Business Division for Wires and Cables of Electrical Equipment. All three divisions are responsible for the manufacturing and sales of their respective products. In 2002, the Division for Cable Industrial Design and Technology R&D was established to provide product design and R&D support for the company. As a complement to its independent research, and in order to meet specific requirements of individual customers as well as market demand for special cables, Jinyuan has also sought cooperation with Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute and China Electric Power Research Institute, among other academic institutions. So far the company enjoys 25 exclusive rights to use registered trade mark and 14 patents of proprietary intellectual property rights, among which, ACSR-720/50 has passed the technical evaluation by the China Electricity Council while its EHV(Extra High Voltage) conductor at 1000kV+ has been put into production and use, with satisfactory performance.

AAAC (All Aluminum Alloy Conductor)have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, and also used in power lines across great rivers, heavy ice area, and other places special geographical characteristics. The conductor have excellent advantages of high strength, large current carrying capacity and good catenary property as well as wear-resistance, anti-crush and corrosion-proof with simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost for the line, large transmission capacity.referred to have higher strength but lower conductivity than pure aluminum.being lighter, alloy conductors can sometimes be used to advantage in place of the more conventional ACSR;having lower breaking loads than the latter,their use becomes particularly favourable when ice and win loadings are low.

Advantage
Corrosion Resistance: AAAC exhibits excellent corrosion resistance specially in sea coast areas and in polluted industrial areas due to absence of steel core.
Lower Power losses:Since AAAC is homogeneous (with all strands of Aluminium Alloy) with no steel component the resistance of AAAC is lower as compared to ACSR.
Higher Ampacity:AAAC can carry atleast 15-20% extra current as compared to ACSR of equal size

Longer Life: Experience in foreign countries shows that All Aluminium Alloy Conductors are in service for over 60 years, which is about double the life of ACSR Conductors.
Surface Hardness:The surface hardness of AAAC is 80 BHN as compared to 35 BHN of ACSR. This reduces the damage to surface during handling and therefore leading to lesser corona losses and ratio interference at EHV.
Therma Stability: AAAC are stable upto 90oC against ACSR conductors which are st-able upto 75oC.
Higher Strength To Weight Ratio:Since AAAC has higher strength to weight ratio,span can be increased from 2 to 15% resulting in overall reduction of cost in towers sup-ports and other accessories in transmission line system.

Brief Description:
ACSR conductor consists of a solid or stranded steel core surrounded by strands of aluminium (E.C. GRADE). ACSR CONDUCTOR is available in a wide range of steel varying from as low as 6% to as high as 40 %. The higher strength ACSR CONDUCTORS are used for river crossings, overhead ground wires, installations involving extra long spans etc.. Against any given resistance of conductor, ACSR CONDUCTORS may be manufactured for having a wide range of tensile strength as per requirement. The principal advantage of these conductors are high tensile strength and light weight with longer spans as well as with lesser supports. Due to the greater diameter of ACSR CONDUCTORS a much higher corona limit can be obtained causing big advantages on high as well as extra high voltage overhead lines.
Applications:
Used as bare overhead transmission cable and as primary and secondary distribution cable. ACSR CONDUTOR offers optimal strength for line design. Variable steel core stranding enables desired strength to be achieved without sacrificing ampacity. ACSR CONDUTORS are used extensively for overhead ground wires, river crossings etc. These ACSR CONDUTORS are available with us in various types for meeting the exact requirements of the clients.
Construction:
Aluminum1350-H19 wires, concentrically stranded about a steel core. Core wire for ACSR is available with class A, B,or C galvanizing; "aluminized" aluminum coated (AZ); or aluminum-clad (AW). Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of the complete cable with grease.

ACARis used as bare cable for overhead transmission and distribution lines and also as bus-bar in substations where is highly suitable considering the mechanical and electrical characteristics. As comparison with ACSR of same weight, ACAR can offers higher ampacity and mechanical strength.ACAR alloy overhead cable widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, for they have the advantages as high mechanical strength, good conductivity, corrosion resistance, unit volume light, easy to set up, high temperature resistance, simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, large transmission capacity and are also suitable for laying across rivers and valleys where special geographical teatures exist.

Features :
Aluminum Conductor Alloy Reinforced (ACAR)cable is an excellent conductor choice where currentcarrying capacity, higher strength and a lower conductor weight are critical to the line design.
Construction:
Wires of Aluminium 1350-H19 is concentrically stranded on Aluminium Alloy 6201 core. The number of wires of each one depends on the cable design. In some cable constructions the wires of Aluminium Alloy 6201 can be distributed in layers throughout the Aluminium 1350-H19.

Service Drop
Primarily used for 120 volt overhead service applications ,usually from a pole- mounted transformer, to the user’s service head where connection to the service entrance cable is made,such as street lighting,outdoor lighting and temporary service for construction,To be used at voltage of 600 volts phase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperetures not to exceed 75°C for polythylene insulated conductor  or 90°C for crosslinked polythylene (XLP) insulated conductor
Construction
Conductors are concentrically stranded, compressed 1350-H19 aluminum. Insulated with either polyethylene or XLP crosslinked polyethylene. Neutral messengers are concentrically stranded 6201, AAC, or ACSR. One conductor is manufactured with an extruded ridge for phase identification.

B-30 Aluminum wire, 1350-H19 for electrical purposes.
B-231 Aluminum conductors, concentric-lay-stranded

Service drop cable meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of ICEA S-79-474.

UD Cable Applications:
Used for secondary distribution and  underground service at 600 volts or less,either direct burial or in ducts .
UD Cable Construction:
Conductors are stranded or compressed 1350-H19 ,H16 or H26 aluminum conductor, insulated with vulcanized crosslinked polyethylene insulation.
UD Cable Standards:
Secondary UD single conductor 600V cable meets or exceeds the following ASTM specifications.
B-230 Aluminum Wire, 1350-H19 for Electrical Purposes.
B-231 Aluminum 1350 conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded.
