Cathodic Protection Cable is stranded copper conductor insulated with a black high molecular weight
Polyethylene(HMWPE) compound that provides excellent abrasion, crush, chemical, oil and moisture resistance.
 
Application
Used for underground DC power supply feeder to cathodic protection systems for pipelines, storage tanks,
and other buried or submerged structures
Cable Construction
· Conductor Class B stranded, annealed copper in accordance
with ASTM B-8
· Insulation High molecular weight polyethylene(HMWPE)
conforms to ASTM D-1248 for Type 1, Class C,
Category 4 or 5, Grades E-4 or E-5, J1, J3  
Characteristics
· Temperature 75o C (Maximum operating temperature)
· Voltage 600V (Rated voltage)
