This primary airfield lighting cable (AGL) is designed for use in primary series circuit for connection of transformers to the constant current regulator. 

Specifications

• Manufactured in accordance with FAA specification AC 150/5345-7D (L-824)

Conductors

• stranded class 2 copper conductors to BS6360

Insulation

• XLPE – to BS 7655

Sheath

• PVC – to BS7655

Sheaths can be marked to suit your individual needs

All dimensions are nominal unless otherwise specified

APPLICATION

A single core 5kV, PVC sheathed power cable with brass tape. Used for the interconnection of Airfield Lighting systems. Suitable for the installation in conduit, duct, aerial and direct burial.

Conductor: Stranded bare copper conductor, IEC 60228 class 2
Inner Semi-Conductor: Extruded semi-conducting compound.
Insulation: XLPE.
Outer Semi-Conductor: Extruded semi-conducting compound.
Shield: Copper tapes.
Outer Sheath: PVC
