Product Description

ACSR Conductor overhead cable with XLPE Insulated.

The insulated overhead cables are mainlyused in city streets, green area overhead lines, near building and rural area where requirement of the safety and management of power operation are being improved continuously, especially they are suitable for the dense populated cities, towns and green belt.

Standard : "Insulated overhead cable with rated voltage up to 1 KV"
Conductor: Copper conductors to BS EN 60228: 2005 (previously BS6360)
Insulation: PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Type TI 1 to BS7655
Insulation Colour: Black, Blue, Green/Yellow, Red, Yellow, White, Violet, Brown, Grey, Orange, Pink
Minimum Bending Radius: 6 X overall diameter

Operating characteristics :
1. Long term permissible working temperature of conductor.
PVC/PE insulated cable: Max.70 ° C
XLPE insulated cable : Max.90 ° C
HDPE insulated cable : Max.75 ° C
2. The installation temperature should be higher than – 20 ° C
3.The permissible bending radius of cable:
The cable with rated voltage up to 1KV: D< 25mm ,R>=4D ,D>= 25 mm, R>= 6D;
The cable with rated voltage ip to 10KV; >= 25 (D+d)
Note: D- outer Dia. of cable.d – outer Dia. of conductor .
