Applications
URD – EPR insulated cables are designed and manufactured to meet the applications of primary underground distribution suitable for
use in wet or dry location, direct burial, underground duct, and exposed to sunlight, To be used at 15kV upto 35kV at conductor temperatures not
to exceed 90 deg. C for normal operation.
Specifications
EPR insulated URD cables meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of thefollowing standards, and guaranteed
all cables manufactured and tested under this standards.

Construction
Conductor : Bare aluminium or copper, stranded class B compressed stranding
Conductor Shield :Extruded semi-conducting compound
Insulation : Ethylene properlene rubber (EPR) insulation
Insulation Shield : Extruded semi-conducting compound
Concentric Neutral : Uncoated copper concentric neutral wires (coated copper are optional)
Encapsulated Jacket : Non-conducting LLDPE embedded jacket with extruded red stripes.
Optional semi-conducting PE Jacket.
Maximum Conductor Tempeterature
Normal continuous at 90 ºC, Overload at 130 ºC and Short circuit at 250 ºC
Features & Benefits, Options
– Simultaneous extrusion of strand shield, insulation and insulation shield (tripe extrusion, dry curing process) combines to form a virtually perfect cable core eliminating unequal electrical stress.
– EPR insulation offers low moisture absorption, good chemical resistance, low dielectric loss and high dielectric strength. EPR insulation has a proven superior life span.

After price confirmation, you can require for samples to check our quality. Sample is free, but the freight charge should be paid.
(3).How long can I expect to get the sample?
After you pay the freight charge and send us confirmed files, the samples will be ready for delivery in 3-7days. The samples will be sent to you
via express and arrive in 3~5 days. You can use your own express account orprepay us if you do not have an account.
(4).What about the lead time for mass production?
Honestly, it depends on the order quantity and the season you place the order.The best record we keep is delivering 10 kilometers cable within
a week. Generally speaking, we suggest that you start inquiry two months before the date you would like to get the products at your country.
