  1. Permissible long-term working temperature of cable conductor 90ºC.

When the cable confronts short circuit within 5 seconds, the highest temperature of the conductor should not exceed 250ºC. When there exit line joints, the temperature of tin soldering ones should not exceed 120ºC, the temperature of crimping ones should not exceed 150ºC, and

  1. the temperature of electric or gas welding should not exceed 250ºC.
  2. When laying, the max. permissible bending radios should exceed 25D; After laying, the max. Permissible bending radios should exceed 23D.
  3. When laying, ambient temperature ≥0ºC (When the cable has to be laid under the ambient temperature below 0ºC, it is necessary to preheat the cable above 0ºC)
  4. When laying, the cable isn’t limited by disparity with the satisfaction of mechanical pressure, but it is not permissible to lay the cable in the iron pipe, nor the circular iron materials around fixed cables.

Note: The aluminum conductor is not recommended concerning to cables for voltage exceeding 220kV.

Cable Construction
 

  1. The property of cable conductor is in accordance with the rules of GB/T 3956-2008. The cross-section below 800mm2 should be tight round winding conductor; above 1000mm2 should be segmentation conductor construction.

 

  1. Inner shield adopt the cross-linked semi-conductive shield materials to extrude over the conduct extremely smoothly.

 

  1. Insulation should adopt the extremely clean XLPE insulation materials, and triple extrude with outer shield tightly bonded.

 

  1. Outer shield should adopt cross-linked shield materials o extrude over insulation extremely smooth.

 

  1. Vertical water blocking layer and buffer layer should adopt semi-conductive water-proof tapes with strong capacity of water-proof to wrap between the outer shields and vertical water-proof layer.

 

  1. Vertical water-proof layer should adopt the al-plastic composites and iron jack should adopt corrugated aluminum or lead sheath, which can meet the capacity and screen of short circuit.

 

  1. Protection layer and corrosion resistance layer make sure the effective protection for the corrugated aluminum jack or lead sheath.

9. Outer jack should adopt PVC, PE or other relative sheath materials to extrude, in order to meet the electrical function and mechanical function. Other types of cables such as flame resistance, rat proof, low smoke and halogen also are produce as the different requirements of different places. The surface of outer sheath coasts or extrudes with a layer of continuously smooth semi-conductive materials as the pressure-resistant electrode of outer sheath.
