AAAC 19 Wires 3.76mm
Product Description
Product Description
The AAAC is used for overhead power transmission lines , especially the electric power augmentation of old transmission lines. We specialized in the research and application of AAAC for almost ten years. When replacing the aluminium conductor steel reinforced , the AAAC can save 5-8% of the construction cost. This AAAC covers aluminium alloy (hard solution, heat-treated, cold worked, and artifically aged) round wires for electrical purposes to be used as component wires of aluminium alloy conductor and aluminium alloy conductor steel reinforced.
Feature:
1. high strength
2. nonexistance of electrochemical corrosion
3. long service life
4. sound electricity conductivity
5. long distance power transmission
AAAC (All Aluminum Alloy Conductor) referred to have higher strength but lower conductivity than pure aluminum. Being lighter, alloy conductors can sometimes be used to advantage in place of the more conventional ACSR; Having lower breaking loads than the latter, their use becomes particularly favourable when ice and win loadings are low.
We can supply this conductor according to different recognized standards, such as BS EN50182, IEC61089, ASTM B399DIN 48, customer special specification also can be satisfied.
ACCC conductor is the newest type stranded conductor , usually used in the overhead power transmission lines. It has double capacity of ACSR at the same conditions.
Increased Power Transfer
When compared to an ACSR that can be strung on the same towers, ACCC conductors will carry about 28% more annealed aluminum in a trapezoidal configuration giving greatly increased conductivity; the carbon core provides increased strength and virtually eliminates high temperature sag allowing more efficient operation at up to 180°C. This can double current capacity (ampacity) over th
e ACSR.
Reduced High Temperature Sag
The coefficient of thermal expansion of ACCC conductor at its final condition is eight times less than typical ACSR, and the ACCC core is approximately two and a half times lighter than steel. ACCC conductors sag very little due to thermal expansion which eliminates this as a significant design consideration.
Energy Efficiency
Using more aluminum with better conductivity reduces losses at every temperature of operation. When operating as a High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductor, the higher operating efficiency can reduce line losses and their associated emissions by more than 35%. This results in more power delivered to be sold and can result in lower power generation costs.
